Presentation of credentials
Bern, 21.04.2026 — Ambassadors newly accredited to Switzerland present credentials
The ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Republic of Albania, Mr Ermal Dredha, the Republic of Namibia, Mr Elvis Toolouta Shiweda (with residence in Geneva), the Republic of Paraguay, Ms Cynthia María Filártiga Lacroix (with residence in Paris), and the Republic of Seychelles, Mr Ahmad Makaila (with residence in Geneva) were received by President of the Swiss Confederation Guy Parmelin at the Federal Palace on 21 April 2026 for the presentation of their credentials.
