Migration and Forced Displacement
Eichenweg 5

The impacts of climate change can trigger migration and forced displacement, posing critical development challenges in countries of origin, transit, and destination. While climate induced movement can hinder development and lead to economic and political instability, it can also be a source of adaptation and risk reduction, allowing people to diversify livelihoods and contribute to development.

These learning sessions, developed by experts from the Migration Policy Institute, will provide participants with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the interactions between climate change and human mobility and develop new programming ideas to address these critical development issues.
